Inspiration for My Collection.

It is easy to people watch when roaming the streets, sitting in a cafe, or even riding the subway. There are many people that pass us by, while few stay with us. Take this lovely lady for example. Immediately upon entering the subway car I couldn’t stop staring at her and maneuvered myself for the seats directly opposite her. The color palette coupled with her strong features and fierce sense of style made me think of one thing… I needed her picture. I snapped a few picts with my iPhone with the idea in mind that I would recreate the whole scenerio in a studio setting, with better lighting and camera. I was even willing to go as far as to cast for her part and recreate her dress attire. Then the thought occurred to me,…why not just ask her if she’d be interested in sitting for a portrait? And so I did. To my dismay, she declined. As a result, I felt that she really didn’t understand how beautiful of an image she was, and thus got off at the next stop, which was mine.
